American Pie

It all started in 1999 with four friends and one big goal: to lose their virginity before the school year ends. American Pie set the standard for all the sex comedy movies that came after it. You'll start your movie marathon with some serious nostalgia when you see iconic characters like Jim Levenstein (Jason Biggs), Michelle Flaherty (Alyson Hannigan), Steve Stifler (Seann William Scott), and of course, Jim's legendary dad (Eugene Levy). This movie sets the stage for the whole franchise, with all its cringe-worthy moments and one-liners that'll have you in stitches. If you've ever quoted "this one time at band camp," then this is the place for you.

American Pie 2

A year later, we pick up with American Pie 2. The friends come back from their first year of college and decide to rent a summer house together. What happens next is a mix of friendship, confusion, and, of course, some pretty absurd sexual misunderstandings. The sequel smartly builds on the dynamics from the first film and gives more screen time to the supporting cast, like Oz (Chris Klein), Kevin (Thomas Ian Nicholas), and Finch (Eddie Kaye Thomas). Plus, Stifler is at his chaotic best. It's the perfect second film for a binge night.

American Wedding

The saga takes a mature turn, but don't worry, the jokes remain as juvenile as ever. Jim and Michelle take the next step, and, naturally, things don't go as planned. This film is more about the couple, but it still gives Stifler plenty of room to unleash his antics. Oz and Kevin don't appear as much, but Jim, his dad, and Michelle's parents make up for it. You can feel the characters growing older, but the vibe stays 100% American Pie.

American Reunion

And then, the grand return: American Reunion. The original cast is back for their high school reunion, and it feels like they never left. Jim, Michelle, Oz, Kevin, Finch, and Stifler get together for a trip down memory lane, and, as always, it's just as awkward as ever. Fans of the original will really enjoy this one, with all the references and inside jokes that we've come to expect. As a marathon finale? It's absolutely perfect!

American Pie Presents: Band Camp

This is the start of the "American Pie Presents" era. It's a spin-off set in the same universe, but with new characters. In Band Camp, we follow Matt Stifler, Steve's younger brother, who gets sent to the infamous band camp. Yeah, that camp. Eugene Levy returns as Jim's dad, keeping the whole thing connected. Get ready for a classic teen comedy with plenty of flute jokes and some surprisingly heartfelt moments.

American Pie Presents: The Naked Mile

In The Naked Mile, we turn our attention to Erik Stifler, another family member trying to live up to the Stifler name. He gets the green light from his girlfriend to "go wild" for one weekend at a university where the infamous Naked Mile happens. This film is jam-packed with over-the-top situations, classic party comedy moments, and of course, Stiflers in the wild. It's not the most nuanced film, but it'll keep your marathon lighthearted.

American Pie Presents: Beta House

Beta House is a direct follow-up to The Naked Mile, and it goes deeper into Erik Stifler's college life. Picture hazing, weird challenges, and a showdown between nerds and party animals. This might be the most "college comedy" of all the American Pie movies. Less plot, more beer. It works, especially if you're in the right mood (like late-night binge-watching with your housemates).

American Pie Presents: The Book of Love

We take a quick jump in time with The Book of Love. This time, it's about three new students who stumble upon the legendary "Bible," that book from the original trilogy. Eugene Levy returns as the connecting thread between old and new. The film is obviously part of the American Pie franchise, but it feels like something new. This is perfect for when you're in the "anything goes" mode in the second half of your marathon.

American Pie Presents: Girls' Rules

This spinoff is all about the girls of East Great Falls High. It's a fresh take with a female cast at the helm, but it's still the same mix of sex comedy, coming-of-age moments, and awkward situations. It's the latest addition to the American Pie franchise, and it feels like a modern reboot with a nod to the original. It's not mandatory, but it's definitely a good time if you want to get the most out of your marathon.

Whether you're into laugh-out-loud comedy, nostalgic vibes, or just an excuse to munch on popcorn into the wee hours, this American Pie universe marathon delivers. Put your phone on airplane mode, invite your friends (or watch solo, no shame), and immerse yourself in the most chaotic coming-of-age universe ever. And remember, whatever happens, you can blame it on Stifler.
